Our laboratories carry out all applicable analyses to comply with food labeling and quality control regulations in the Brazilian industries. We offer deadlines consistent with the customers’ needs and deliver the results based on specific regulations for each product.

When required, Labor3 makes prior consultation with the customer, in order to help the company to decide which analyses are really necessary before delivering the product. This meets the specific needs of industries that wish to make periodical analysis of their products. The procedure also helps to reduce costs and makes effective the business P&D (project and development) management, providing tools to streamline the production processes and tailor the products to intelligent consumption.

 

LABELING

Our physical-chemical laboratory highly-skilled staff carries out all the necessary analyzes for product labeling and helps to tailor the labels of new products or non-compliant products to the Brazilian regulations. All calculations are based on the Brazilian Labeling Requirements (RDC 360). In addition, we translate and adapt the nutrition labeling for products manufactured abroad to be imported into the Brazilian market.

Nutritional Labeling and Education Act (NLEA)

On May 20, 2016, the FDA announced a change in the labeling format and information content for foods commercialized in the United States. The change was based on the scientific information establishing an association between diet and chronic diseases, such as obesity and heart diseases.

The new label helps the consumers to make better informed food choices.

The deadline for adapting the labeling is June 28, 2018.

Labor3 performs all analyses and calculations according to US regulations, making food exportation much easier.
